Happy Holidays!!!

Oh my goodness, that was a busy holiday season!! Hosting Thanksgiving, my birthday, hosting a Christmas party for my knitting group, teaching a knitting class, making holiday crafts & foods, knitting up a flurry of Christmas gifts, and flying off to Florida....Whew!!! I'm tired again just thinking about it all! I am terribly behind on posting a few of our holiday projects but here is a photo collage to enjoy in the meantime!

I'm learning to be a mom and finding many other things to do in my "spare" time...like knitting, crafts, cooking, learning to sew, and my new favorite obsession - reading blogs about all of these things! My background is in zoology and I love the outdoors, nature, ecology, wildlife, and teaching all of this to kids. I was a museum naturalist, taking care of a live animal collection and teaching wildlife to children. Now I spend time with my son going on nature walks, visiting the zoo & local parks, attending music class, and when he's in "school" I volunteer, sew, & knit!
